This research project aims to improve the fertilization recommendations for soybeans. Work compares and validates fertility recommendations from different soil testing facilities and identifies optimum K fertilizer rate for new compared to old soybean varieties grown on soils low in K. It also determines the economic benefits of K fertility recommendations from different testing labs and the economic K fertility rate for soybean varieties grown in rain-fed and irrigated environments.
