Brief Project Summary:

The overall purpose of the sentinel plots is to aid soybean growers in finding soybean rust early so that appropriate rust management practices can be implemented. Fifteen sentinel plots will be established across the state and monitored weekly. The researcher will also scout commercial soybean fields for the disease. Once identified, growers will be advised on fungicide applications where needed.
