Brief Project Summary:

This project continues to profile protein differences between two resistant and susceptible under control and soybean rust infection conditions. The proteins have been isolated, sequenced and characterized and verified using PCR. The research is using VIGS techniques to silence the expression of the two proteins. They are now testing the functions of the proteins in greenhouse studies for disease resistance.
