Brief Project Summary:

The researchers have evaluated over 300 early maturing soybean germplasm lines from the MSU soybean breeding program for SDS resistance in both artificially inoculated fields and natural heavy SDS infection sites. Ten lines that showed SDS resistance in multiple locations were entered in Maturity Group II test of the 2010 SDS Regional Tests. Two lines, GD2422 and E07080, were as resistant as the three SDS resistant checks at all locations where SDS disease data were collected. Both lines are not known to carry any SDS resistance genes and are considered new sources of SDS resistance. In 2011, the 243 lines that are segregating for SDS resistance from GD2422 were evaluated for SDS resistance...

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
