Brief Project Summary:

Starting in 2012, a regional Midsouth Soybean Board (MSSB) project was funded by the United Soybean Board and will involve four state checkoff boards. The objective of this three-year planned project is to provide data that can be used to predict the effects of latitude and planting date on the growth and development of a uniform set of varieties in Maturity groups II, IV, V and VI that are planted from early March through mid-June at eight Midsouth locations ranging from 30.6 to 36.4 degrees latitude.
