Brief Project Summary:

This research project is based on previous research by this group that has developed new soybean germplasm lines that displayed significantly delayed leaf senescence, biomass accumulation and increased seed yield. The overall objective is to continue studies to prolong the longevity of the nitrogen-fixing nodules associated with the soybean roots.
