Brief Project Summary:

The objectives are to: 1) Continue screening individual plants from a population of soybean for the presence of increased levels of calcium oxalate in leaves; 2) Determine levels of insect resistance in soybean lines with higher or lower levels of calcium oxalate; and 3) Determine if there is a link between calcium oxalate crystal formation and chloride tolerance/sensitivity.
