Brief Project Summary:

Soybean growers need to increase yield in field with heavy clay and low pH soils. One of the most important methods of increasing the yield on these problem soils is to choose cultivars that can recover from stunting, due to water-saturated conditions. While it is true that excessive moisture does not occur every year, research has shown that cultivars can be identified that perform under normal rainfall and yield well during a year of above-precipitation.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
