Brief Project Summary:

This research project will compare the new molecular markers approach to breeding cultivars that are tolerant to iron deficiency chlorosis to tradition methods based on field evaluation for tolerance. Molecular markers and IDC tolerant cultivars have been identified; this project will evaluate the two methods to determine the best strategy for developing new varieties that are tolerant to iron deficiency chlorosis.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
