Brief Project Summary:

The goal is to use field demonstration plots to show efficacy of different insecticide management strategies (seed treatments and foliar applied insecticides) and to demonstrate the benefits of using the established economic threshold of 250 aphids per plant for management of soybean aphid in North Dakota.

This research will identify the role of insecticide seed treatments and/or foliar insecticide applications, and feasibility of different action thresholds for pest management of soybean aphids. Final Project Results

Two NDSU Extension publications are being developed in collaboration with the North Dakota Soybean Council: soybean aphids and spider mites.


The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years.
