Brief Project Summary:

The goal of the state-based components of the ipmPIPE is to provide useful information for integrated pest management (IPM) through a national network with information associated with IPM for pests, which includes soybean rust. The research team will monitor five over-wintering plots for ten weeks during the winter and 38 weeks during the growing season. At each observation, 100 leaves are collected randomly, incubated for at least 24 hours, and then examined with a dissecting microscope for soybean rust pustules.
