Brief Project Summary:

The focus of the iron deficiency chlorosis (IDC) project is to use genetic information, gene expression analysis and genetic transformation to identify genes that confer tolerance to IDC in soybean. The researchers will attempt to identify genes that cause IDC responses among cultivars, and target these genes for improvement in susceptible cultivars.
