Brief Project Summary:

Soybean Diseases reduce soybean yields and profits. The main goals of this research are to incorporate resistance to important diseases into public soybean germplasm and cultivars and test the materials for disease resistance; determine the changes occurring in the pathogen populations that will impact disease control; and develop disease management practices for Soybean Diseases occurring in North Dakota.

Information And Results
Final Project Results

The hydrophilic exterior of SBPS micelles facilitates stability in water and the hydrophobic interior attracts impurities (i.e. dirt, oils, and other molecular debris). The size of the SBPS micellar interior and "capacity" of the micelle for attracting and extracting the impurities is controlled by the length and number of VESFA fragments, and SBPS surface activity. Immediately upon SBPS solution contact with a surface, the 'dirt' is extracted into the interior of the micelles and, thus, removed from the surface. It becomes clean because rinsed water-soluble micelles contain the accumulated 'dirt' in their interior.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
