Brief Project Summary:

Dr. Bajjalieh organized a workshop that brought together private and public sector breeders, molecular biologists and composition experts to discuss the current "state-of-the-science" for soybean plant breeding and genomics opportunities to improve soybean composition. The meeting was held as part of the Better Bean Initiative at the USB-sponsored Soybean Breeder's Workshop held in February 2012, in St. Louis. The meeting's proceedings and recommendations will be published.
