Brief Project Summary:

This project aims for the desired outcome of increasing oil and/or protein levels and amino acids in soybeans. Studies involve measuring the effect of several management practices on oil and protein concentration. Efforts expect to determine which management practices lead to higher soybean quality traits and yield using a new type of experimental design called an omission trial and also to determine yield-limiting factors through a statewide survey of soil quality, pests and management practices using multivariate statistics and principle component analysis.

Key Benefactors:
farmers, agronomists, extension agents

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
