Brief Project Summary:

The goal for this research is to provide producers with technologies to minimize soybean yield loss to the top three Soybean Diseases causing economic damage to the Midsouth including Tennessee. Screening for charcoal rot resistance has shown that of all the lines evaluated only nine exhibited 100 % resistance across three replications. Three of these lines are in MG II, 2 in MG IV and 3 in MG V and 1 in MG VI. Six of these lines also have SCN resistance. Additional 51 lines were shown 91-99 % to have some resistance.
