Brief Project Summary:

Seed treatments will be examined for their role in the management of SDS and SCN. Bayer Crop Sciences fungicide seed treatment ILeVO has just passed EPA and is currently undergoing state registration for release in 2015. This seed treatment has demonstrated significant reduction of plant infection by SDS fungus, with subsequent reduction in SDS disease and corresponding yield protection. The ILeVO product has also demonstrated potential in managing SCN. We continue to assess ILeVO and new products for SDS and SCN Management.

We will work with the MSU soybean breeding program to screen mapping populations and AYT lines for SDS resistance in the field. SDS inoculum will be produced in...
