This research comprehensively evaluates several fungicide and insecticide treatments to help determine the most effective treatment combination in conjunction with highly detailed disease, insect defoliation and bean leaf beetle pod feeding measurements. Additionally, the meta-analysis portion of this study helps farmers identify situations where spraying a fungicide and/or insecticide will increase soybean yield. Factors considered include: disease/insect defoliation, weather conditions, location, yield thresholds, tillage, soil type, soybean variety (disease resistance), etc.Key Benefactors: farmers, agronomists, extension agents
The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
