Brief Project Summary:

This research will focus the effects of auxin herbicide drift on non-tolerant soybeans. Research will investigate various phases of drift, which will include herbicide selection, nozzle selection, drift reduction agents, growth stage, and multiple exposures. Information will be used from the mesonet to help better understand weather factors that potentially might affect drift. There is potential to develop educational information to help producers understand these factors better and help in both the prediction and prevention of drift. Information will be used in extension meetings and other information outlets to assist producers in making sound decisions on the use of this technology.

Key Benefactors:
farmers, agronomists, ag retailers, applicators
