Brief Project Summary:

The Quality Assurance program supplements efforts to address questions related to biodiesel and renewable diesel on storage and handling, fuel tank corrosion, immediate marketplace fuel quality issues, and items outside that scope of the other technical programs. It works to minimize barriers to growth and higher volume use of soybean oil as a feedstock for fuels. That includes researching additional technical concerns, such as fuel tank corrosion or the stability biodiesel and renewable diesel blends, gaining data to justify regulatory advances, or improving the industry's quality management system.

Key Benefactors:
farmers, agronomists, extension agents
