Project Summary

Innovative research, discovery, and development across the soybean value chain to drive farmer profitability, industry growth, and end-user value is critical to the future of soybean production. Emphases and opportunities are growing in the areas of climate resilience, sustainability, traceability, agritechnologies, biotechnologies, soybean oil for fuels, and soybean protein for feed and food. US soybean farmers are uniquely positioned to take a leadership role in engaging with all elements of the value chain to provide greater profitability to soybean farmers. Through a coordinated approach, the US Soybean Research Collaborative will provide states, regional, & national partners the opportunity and platform to complement and extend the efforts of our existing organizations for more impactful discovery, development, validation, and commercialization of soybeans and soybean products. Together, we would be positioned to meet the changing needs of the soybean industry.
