Final Project Results

This project aimed to evaluate new soybean varieties for resistance to soybean sudden death syndrome (SDS), determine the effects of seed treatment on SDS and soybean cyst nematode (SCN), and examine the interaction between SDS and SCN. Over 300 new varieties were evaluated for SDS resistance in 2018. The effects of various seed treatments on SDS and SCN were determined, and the SDS/SCN interaction was examined. The results from this project will help Michigan soybean growers in management of SDS and SCN.
