Biography
Rosangela (Ross) Sozzani is a Professor in the Department of Plant and Microbial Biology at NC State, Platform Director for Plant Improvement in the NCSU Plant Science Initiative, and Co-Deputy Director for the Science and Technologies for Phosphorus Sustainability (STEPS) Center which involves eight participating universities across the US. Her research develops novel predictive modeling strategies that fuse biological knowledge and engineering techniques to predict plant outcomes using molecular and -omics data. She has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications in plant and computational biology.
