Soybean producers make important production and economic decisions regarding crop rotation based upon information supplied by Extension personnel, and seed companies, etc. Often the information is limited, inconsistent and not applicable to the geographic area that is being considered by the producer or the crop advisor in the Mid-South. Unfortunately, the significance of crop rotation of soybean with feed grains cultivated in southern latitudes impact upon overall soybean production is not well understood.
