Brief Project Summary:

This research project will:
1) Evaluate currently registered foliar fungicides for control of soybean rust and other foliar diseases;
2) Develop the impact of fungicides timing on soybean yield and control of soybean and other diseases.
3) Investigate the interactions between planting date and soybean response to fungicides, insecticides and/or combinations of fungicides and insecticides.
4) Assess the impact of adjuvants on fungicide efficacy and soybean injury; and
5) Incorporate findings into existing foliar fungicide recommendations to maximize yield and offset treatment costs in an effort to determine the most cost effective rust management strategy.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
