Brief Project Summary:

This project will determine the relationship of irrigation initiation timing to yield and economic return from soybean grown on clay. Of particular interest are irrigation initiation timing recommendations that will lead to maximum economic yields and conservation of irrigation water (increased irrigation efficiency) for producers growing early-planted MG 4 soybean varieties.
