This project will characterize endophytic bacterial and fungal communities associated with charcoal rot disease and investigate the effects of inoculation with bacteria and fungi on charcoal rot disease development and soybean growth. Results of these studies will expand information that will be included in developing guidelines for charcoal rot disease management in soybeans.
