Brief Project Summary:

The focus of this project is to identify regions on the soybean cyst nematode (SCN) genome associated with HG type. After the identified regions didn't correlate to HG type, the focus has shifted to characterizing the different haplotypes of SCN that were found. Part of this will include developing genetic markers to rapidly differentiate between the two haplotypes of SCN in the country. This will allow us to determine if there are geographical differences in the two SCN populations.

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
