Brief Project Summary:

It is proposed to make seed of 20 to 30 of the most promising soybean varieties (conventional, Roundup Ready, STS and Liberty Link) available to county Extension personnel for their use in a local variety demonstration. The project will provide side-by-side comparisons under local conditions of promising new and widely-grown soybean varieties. The activity also provides county Extension personnel a vehicle for teaching their producers and agribusiness personnel about soybean production, and directly supports the NCSU's Soybean Extension On-Farm Test and Demonstration program.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years.
