Brief Project Summary:

This project tests paraquat and sodium chlorate used as harvest aids to kill soybean plants prematurely and potentially permit an early harvest. The assumption is that earlier harvest without a yield loss provides an opportunity to take a higher market price. Results will improve soybean production management.
