Brief Project Summary:

This research entails five separate objectives, all of which have direct relevance to Tennessee Soybean producers:
? Confirm resistance of weeds to glyphosate (or other herbicides) under greenhouse conditions.

? Evaluate off target movement of dicamba and 2, 4-D after application.

? Determine amount of herbicide residues in sprayer tubing and examine various tank-cleanout procedures.

? Compare Roundup Ready? soybean variety to conventional of similar genetic background (Allen vs. 5601T).

? Evaluate atrazine dissipation from soil to determine if soybeans can be planted in bottom ground fields that have been flooded.
