Brief Project Summary:

This proposal requests support for a multi-state regional efforts to assess the potential impacts of neonicotinoid insecticide seed treatments on pollinator health in soybean. Specifically, funding was requested for mass spectrometric analyses of insecticide concentrations in soil, soybean flowers, wild flowers around field perimeters, and in honey bees and pollen being collected by foraging bees to determine the potential exposure of insect pollinators to these insecticides.
