Final Project Results

This project was initiated preceding the incorporation and standardization of KPIs. The progress of objectives are as follows:
Achieving objectives:
• The data analysis for 50 lines at 40X coverage and 300 lines at 15X coverage for Phase I is continuing.
• Industry partners have been sent 15X data from 300 additional lines for internal analysis.
• The first step of sequencing cultivar Lee using reference guided assembly has been completed. Analysis of the sequencing and quality threshold determinations are ongoing. Quotes for the second step, de-novo assembly, have been received.
• Tissue for 396 out of the next 408 lines has been collected. DNA extraction for 200 lines is completed. These have been sent to Washington University for heterogeneity testing.
• A group project meeting was held on January 10, 2015 at PAG in San Diego.

Not achieving objectives:
• None at this time.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
