Brief Project Summary:

The overall objective of this research project is to assist producers with management decisions regarding manganese deficiencies and yield responses as they relate to glyphosate resistant soybeans. Specifically, the objectives are to:
~ Determine yield response to foliar manganese applications on standard pH soils (5.7-6.5) and high ph soils (above 7.0).
~ Determine foliar manganese applications rates and timing for Virginia.
~ Determine appropriate tank mix strategies and yield response for producers wanting to apply foliar manganese with their herbicide or insecticide programs.
~ Develop new manganese sufficiency ratings for glyphosate resistant soybean varieties planted...

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
