The research and extension program at Virginia Tech has addressed, tested and developed numerous soybean production strategies and techniques over the years. These range from foliar nutrient applications, early soybean production systems, row spacing, seeding rates, seed treatments, inoculants, effects of leaf area and plant canopy on soybean growth, pest management strategies, rotations, and cropping systems in general. This information was distributed to Virginias soybean producers via presentations, publications, and on-farm testing and demonstrations.
