Brief Project Summary:

The objectives of the project are to develop weed control programs for soybeans which reduce glyphosate applications while maintaining weed control. The purpose of this research is to slow the development of resistant weed species to glyphosate. Goals for the study include determining the value of 2, 4-D and dicamba in soybean production programs. The populations of pokeweed and Palmer amaranth will also be examined.
