Brief Project Summary:

This project involves understanding how microbial communities assemble and function in soil ecosystems and root-zone habitats with the focus on better adapting soybean production systems to drier soil environments. Soil moisture levels are directly related to soybean yields and the soils biotic environment that support plant growth and yield.

Key Benefactors:
farmers, agronomists, extension agents
