Brief Project Summary:

This project is to validate the concept that genetic resistance plays an important role in the development and implementation of management practices directed at the control of soybean aphids and associated viruses. Soybean varieties with aphid resistance will soon be available to soybean producers. Their availability will bring questions related to the efficacy and durability of the sources of aphid resistance being used by commercial soybean breeders. Other questions such as whether genetic resistance levels can increase soybean yields as much as the use of insecticides or whether there are soybean aphid biotypes in Wisconsin that will defeat current sources of genetic resistance. Will...

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
