Brief Project Summary:

Over the past few years we have evaluated fungicides and fungicide spray programs in small plot experiments at research stations around the state. Though differences were apparent in some years, it is often difficult to relate these results to real-life situations. In 2010 we conducted five large-scale on-farm fungicide trials in Alabama. Foliar disease pressure was low at all locations due to extremely dry conditions during the growing season. In four of the five trials there were no significant differences in yield or disease incidence between the sprayed and unsprayed strips.
