Brief Project Summary:

The breeding program at Auburn University is continuing as a cooperator in the USDA Uniform Tests, where they serve as test coordinators for the state of Alabama, and conduct 12 different tests in north, central and south Alabama. Participation in these tests allows other public breeders to evaluate their material in Alabama, as well as across the southeast at the many locations from Virginia to Texas that cover the region. They will also continue their cooperation in the "Decades of Yield Progress" experiment, measuring the program to evaluate the soybean germplasm collection for resistance to Asian soybean rust.
