Brief Project Summary:

The goal of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System’s Precision Agriculture Program is to facilitate the adoption of geospatial technologies and site-specific management strategies. The Alabama Precision Ag Team provides quality precision agriculture training and education through research and teaching efforts at Auburn University and outreach programs of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. This project aims to assist the Alabama Natural Resource Conservation Service in the implementation of a Precision Agriculture Incentive through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program, educate regulatory personnel and nutrient management planners, conduct and publish a survey on the adoption of precision agriculture in central Alabama, conduct a workshop for extension team members, and develop ways to share information with farmers.

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years.
