Brief Project Summary:

Diseases of soybean are common in Arkansas, and may be increasing in incidence and severity. Continued identification of strobilurin-resistant isolates in various AR counties is important to determine spread of these resistant isolates, which limits producers' management options. The goal of this project is to reduce the impact of Cercospora diseases on soybean production in Arkansas. The deliverables of this project are tools to monitor fungicide resistance, developing information about the potential impact of fungicide resistance on yield and new sources of genetic resistance. The researchers will provide the information and experimental resources required to most effectively manage these...
