Brief Project Summary:

The overall goal is to maintain long-term effectiveness of current herbicide technologies by mitigating or slowing the spread of giyphosate-resistant weeds including Palmer amaranth, waterhemp, and marestail (horseweed) in Kentucky. This research will improve growers' understanding of how significant of a threat these weeds are to the herbicide technologies being used and will enable them to be in a better position to make an informed decision when developing an herbicide program for managing these weeds.
