Brief Project Summary:

The objective of this continuing project is to evaluate the performance of full season soybeans following cereal cover crops.
In a three-year study at one location, cereal cover crops (rye, wheat, barley and triticale) were compared to no winter cover and results found no significant soybean yield differences between the four cover crops. These studies are being expanded with more locations, varieties, cover crop kill dates and replications.
