Brief Project Summary:

The goal of this project is to develop recommendations and guidelines for applying N fertilizer to soybeans that may have insufficient N in high-yield environments. The research determines critical application time for and form of N fertilizer that will minimize detriment to nitrogen fixation and potentially increase soybean seed yield. That effort involves determining critical application time for and forms of N fertilizer that will minimize detriment to N2 fixation and potentially increase soybean seed yield.

Key Benefactors:
farmers, agronomists, extension agents

Final Project Results

The United Soybean Research Retention policy will display final reports with the project once completed but working files will be purged after three years. And financial information after seven years. All pertinent information is in the final report or if you want more information, please contact the project lead at your state soybean organization or principal investigator listed on the project.
