Brief Project Summary:

Virus in soybean cyst nematode may reduce their capability to injure soybean. This project aims to determine the prevalence of viruses in SCN field and lab populations, characterizes differences in pathogenicity between virus infected and non-infected SCN, infects a virus-free SCN population with virus extracts and seeks levels of detectable virus in the population.

Key Benefactors:
farmers, agronomists, extension agents
