Brief Project Summary:

Soybeans yields are not increasing at the same rate as corn yields and growers consider yields stagnate and do not invest in soybean like they do in corn. The Six Secrets project intends to explore six important factors that relate to soybean productivity and where the right management tactics can improve yield and generate enthusiasm for investing in soybean production once again.

The six factors include weather, soil fertility and plant nutrition, variety selection and placement, maintaining plant health with fungicides, value of seed treatment combinations, and row spacing and seed and fertilizer placement considerations.
