Brief Project Summary:

This project supports the Extension IPM education and applied research efforts. Scout Schools were completed at four locations, training a total of 150 participants. A video of one school was recorded and prepared for use by the USB. Another video related to insect identification is being completed as part of the ongoing Virtual Scout School program. Multiple insecticide seed treatment options and foliar insecticide trials for multiple pests were performed to provide data to support IPM recommendations in Tennessee. Threshold verification trials were done for stink bugs but failed for corn earworm. The kudzu bug was surveyed in multiple counties in collaboration with sentinel plots for soybean...
