Brief Project Summary:

The GoBeans verification program was initiated to allow producers to test university recommendations in an on-farm setting. In recent years, strobilurin resistant Cercospora solani or frogeye leaf spot has been identified in Tennessee. The GoBeans program was implemented on nine farms across the state. County agents worked with state and area specialists to coordinate the project with a local producer. At the beginning of the season, participating growers received recommendations for fertilizer, seed treatments, weed control programs and planting rates based on UT Best Management Practices.
