Brief Project Summary:

Each year the University of Tennessee (UT) State-wide Variety Testing Program (SVT) conducts replicated variety tests of soybeans, corn and wheat on six Research & Education Centers (REC) in all of the physiographic regions of Tennessee. In addition, UT conducts strip-trial variety tests on a smaller number of entries for each of the mentioned crops in County Standard Tests (CST) by extension agents in cooperation with farmers in approximately 28 counties in TN and 5 counties in KY. The results from the SVTs and the CSTs are compiled and published together for each crop.
